Bury and Ramsbottom Scouts to Merge with Prestwich, Radcliffe and Whitefield Scouting District
Following on from the consultation period in relation to the merging of both Bury & Ramsbottom and Prestwich, Radcliffe and Whitefield Scout Districts the decision has been made that this will go ahead.

What we now need from you as Adult Volunteers
1st April to 1st May 2026
Competition for all Adult Volunteers to devise the name of the new District. It has already been decided that the new name will NOT contain any of the names currently within the Districts (i.e., will not include Bury, Ramsbottom, Prestwich, Radcliffe or Whitefield).

After the 1st May we will put the nominated names to the vote and go with the favourite. (No idea what the prize will be yet, but will come up with it)
Following later in May will be a competition for the young people within the District to design the new badge.
