Bury and Ramsbottom Scouts have an Office 365 service available to all leaders in the district.
All users will be created in the format firstname.lastname@brscouts.org.uk and will be their account as long as a role is held within the district.
Users with district roles will be assigned an email address in the format rolename@brscouts.org.uk (eg. dc@brscouts.org.uk)
Users with group roles will be assigned an email address in the format rolename@groupname.brscouts.org.uk
Only roles with a single post holder (eg. GSL, CSL, chair) will be allocated in this way. Other roles will be in the format firstname.lastname@groupname.brscouts.org.uk.
“Groupname” will be the name of the group in a shortened form. (eg. stpauls)
Role changes should be sent to admin@brscouts.org.uk
Anyone holding multiple roles will be able to receive using multiple email addresses but may have only one primary address as a default “reply to”. Please indicate when requesting access which is your primary address.
Passwords
Initial passwords are sent to all users. All users are recommended to register for Password Self Service at https://aka.ms/ssprsetup
Once setup passwords can be recovered from https://aka.ms/sspr
