“It rained on our parade but it didn’t dampen our spirits!” Sam explorer scout and young leader.
Members of the district were out in force at the Bury Lion’s Carnival in Bury town centre. The beavers, cubs and scouts who attended were in high spirits despite the rain; doing themselves, the district and scouting proud.
Members of the district team and young leaders were available to handle enquiries about joining the scouting adventure and to speak to members of the public about what we do!
A big thank you to everyone involved in the organisation of our part in the carnival. We certainly shouted about scouting and the message was loud and clear!
